The Summer Intensive Course offers the student the possibility of studying a language for a period of one month. These courses are suitable for students preparing to travel abroad or students who want to gain practical experience over a short period. The Course levels range from Elementary (A1) to Proficiency (C2).
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS In common with other types of courses, due to the existence of numerous levels, in most cases students are asked to complete a level assessment test. Exceptions are made in the case of students soliciting a place in an elementary level course or where a student can provide an official certificate of a level obtained in the recent past.
We offer our course at the beginning of May and June for JULY - 2hr/Day - 3 or 4 days a week - 4 Weeks in July.
METHODOLOGY At each level these courses follow a syllabus based on the council of Europe CEFR objectives and statements, paying special attention to the 4 language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. See Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
However, in the Summer Intensive course the emphasis is on the use of the language, helping the student to improve their oral (fluency and pronunciation) and listening abilities through a series of activities in group, pairs and one to one with the teacher.
